Myth 1: All financial services firms are the same
We are different to our competitors. In fact, we are unique. We provide the personal attention which clients normally only expect from smaller firms (we call it the ‘Mazars Way’). But, with our global reach, our long experience, our expertise and our range of clients, we’re different to mid-tier firms too.
Myth 2: Accounting = number crunching
Our advice is as important as the numbers. Companies don’t want to know what’s wrong: they want to know how to make it right. In time, you’ll need to become a specialist in their sector of business, work as a part of a team, develop your own recommendations, and present them effectively to clients.
Myth 3: Accountants are dull people in grey suits
We are a mixture. Different nationalities, different ages, different backgrounds, different views, different senses of humour. And we’re proud of it. We make sure people’s personalities colour how we work. So we'll always encourage you to express yourself openly and to add your individual talents and opinions to the mix.
